Bhindi masala is easy to make. it is a delicious vegetable main course. You can have it with chapati. Its very popular in north india.
400 gram okra,washed, tail & tops cut off and diced into 1 inch pieces
1 large onion,sliced
2 large tomatoes
pinch of carom seeds
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon mango powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
salt to taste
2 tablespoon oil
coriander for garnishing
Heat oil in a pan,add carom and cumin seeds. Add sliced onions,saute till transparent.
Add tomatoes,cook till soft.
Now add all the spices. mix well.
Add okra and mix well.
Cook for 10 mins. Serve hot with chapati.
