Peda is a traditional Indian sweet made with khoya/mava or evaporated milk. This recipe is the quick version of peda. It will only take 2-3 mins in microwave. I added cocoa powder to make a chocolate flavour peda. You can also give these as gifts to family & friends on diwali.
Chocolate Peda (Chocolate Fudge)
Ingredients
3/4 cup milk powder
1/2 can condense milk
1 tablespoon ghee or butter
1 teaspoon green cardamom powder
few saffron strands
1 tablespoon coconut powder
2 teaspoon cocoa powder
Method
Mix condense milk, ghee and milk powder in a microwave safe bowl.
Microwave on high for 1 min.
Remove and stir again. Add coconut powder, saffron, green cardamom powder and cocoa powder.
Again microwave on high for 30 secs and check. If the mixture look thin again microwave for 30 secs.
The mixture should have a thicker consistency. You can check the picture here. It’s same as milk peda.
When the mixture is warm, grease your palm with ghee and shape the mixture into balls.
Decorate them using coconut powder.
Serve when required.
Store them in an air tight container in refrigerator.

Then???
you can use amul mithai mate or nestle ,that is the same thing or make it at home by following the recipe below:-
Milk powder – 1/2 cup (amul or nestle)
Icing Sugar – 1/4 cup or granulated sugar
Boiling Water – 1/4 cup
Butter – 1.5 tbsp
1. Place the dry milk, granulated sugar, 1/3 cup of the boiling water, and the melted butter in a blender.
2. Blend all ingredients together until they are smooth, scraping down the sides of the blender occasionally to get all the dry ingredients incorporated. check the consistency.
3. cool it down. keep it in refrigerator in an air tight container, it will be good for 5 days.
Along with the recipe, liked the Ganeshji ki thali too – looks beautiful 🙂
